Alaska Ship and Drydock is strategicaly located in the sheltered Inside Passage of Tongass Narrows at the southern end of the Southeastern Panhandle. Ketchikan enjoys a relatively mild maritime climate similar to the Puget Sound region.
Known as the First City, Ketchikan is the 4th largest city in Alaska. We are the industrial and transportation hub of Southeast Alaska. With frequent airline connections North and South and three barge lines, we can provide the shortest link in Alaska to the Lower 48.
